Venezuela, Colombia, Nicaragua Presidents to Meet, Chavez Says

March 16 (Bloomberg) -- The presidents of Venezuela, Colombia and Nicaragua plan to meet to discuss regional peace, after breaking off diplomatic ties over Colombia's pursuit of insurgents into Ecuador, Hugo Chavez said.

Nicaragua Opposition Unity Threatened

Managua, Mar 11 (Prensa Latina) A recent alliance between the Constitutionalist Liberal Party (PLC) and Vamos con Eduardo movement may be annulled by internal differences.

Eliseo Nunez, spokesman of Vamos con Eduardo, says the pact may be annulled if ex president and PLC leader Arnoldo Aleman insists on appointing judges to represent his party in the Supreme Election Council (CSE).
